New to the world of children’s books Beth Spiegel, has drawn, painted and made up stories visually just about her whole life. She has edited award-winning documentaries and directed animated shorts. Beth studied at California Institute of the Arts where she participated in the film graphics program and took many drawing and painting classes in the Los Angeles and at the Academy of Applied Art in Vienna, Austria.
		Her paintings have exhibited at LACMA, Barnsdall, Sun Valley Center for the Humanities, and The Museum of Tolerance. Living in Altadena California she enjoys the mountains as often as she can.
